ABOUT US
Memoira was founded in Liverpool a city built on trade, movement, and the meeting of cultures and designed in Egypt, where history is not a subject you study but a place you can stand in. That distance between where the brand was born and where it is made is not a contradiction. It is the point.
We started Memoira because we kept noticing the same gap: fashion that referenced the past usually flattened it into a costume, a print, a trend cycle. We wanted something else clothing that carried history the way a relic does, worn rather than displayed. Not a reproduction of the past, but a record of it, reconstructed in fabric.
That became Wearable History: capsule collections, each one built around a specific nation or era, translated into avant-garde silhouettes and heavyweight materials made to last. Every piece begins as research before it becomes a garment the architecture, the symbols, the weight of what a civilization left behind filtered through a modern, considered hand.
The falcon that marks our garments is dual-headed, facing two directions at once. It is a fitting emblem for a brand made across two places: the industrial, outward-facing grit of Liverpool, and the layered, ancient depth of Egypt. Memoira sits in that in-between quiet, deliberate, and built for people who want their clothing to mean something older than the season it was made in.
We are not chasing nostalgia. We are archiving it, and giving it a second life one collection, one civilization, one capsule at a time.
